PGA Tour
El Cardonal, Diamante Cabo San Lucas resort
Los Cabos, Baja California Sur, Mexico
2-5 November 2023
Lucas Glover will be among the favourites to win the
World Wide Technology Championship due to his impeccable experience.
What to know about Glover
The American star has won nine professional tournaments since he turned pro in 2001 and this includes the 2009 US Open.
Glover won the US Open at the Bethpage Black Course (Farmingdale, New York) by two strokes over Phil Mickelson, Ricky Barnes, and David Duval.
He was a surprise winner of the event, being ranked 71st in the world and never having made a cut in his three previous US Open appearances.
Latest news
The veteran golfer will return to competitive golf for the first time since he finished 20th at the 2023 Tour Championship in August.
Glover is currently ranked 32nd on the Official World Golf Rankings and his best OWGR ranking is the 15th spot.
Why Glover could win the World Wide Technology Championship.
The 43-year-old has been in fine form in the last few months - winning the 2023 Wyndham Championship by two shots ahead of An Byeong-hun and Russell Henley in August
One week later, Glover won the FedEx St. Jude Championship in a playoff over Patrick Cantlay and this makes him one of the favourites to win this weekend's tournament.
